Why do cats need grooming?
Most cats will lick themselves as a form of cleaning, but this is NOT clean.
Many cats may have health problems that can be uncovered by frequent grooming.
Senior cats may become lazy or unable to preen themselves.
Do you groom aggressive cats?
YES! Aggressive cats are usually not an issue for grooming.
In a worst case scenario you may be asked to get a sedative prescribed by a Licensed Veterinarian.
What do I need to schedule a grooming session?
Depending on your cat. A pre-existing medical exam with a Veterinarian may be mandatory.
Are cats afraid of water?
Contrary to popular belief, cats are NOT afraid of water. The reason cats are believed to be afraid of water is lack of conditioning or exposure to water.
What if my cat CAN’T be groomed?
In the rare occurance that your cat can’t be groomed. There will be No Charges of any Unfinished Services.
How often should cats be groomed?
Cats have many different fur types and requirements for upkeep. It is recommended to keep grooming your cat every 6 – 8 weeks. Sometimes medical issues require more attention.
Do you clean cats that have Ringworm?
Not Usually. However, this can be discussed as a premium service. Please let me know about this so that I can properly prepare. Ringworm is spread by spores and it is highly recommended to seek a vet and finish treating your cat before seeking a groomer. We don’t want to spread it to anyone else, and in many scenarios you may not be accepted for grooming.
It is your responsibility to take your cat to a vet if you know or think they may have ringworm!
